My path to becoming a surgeon was motivated by the patients I had the privilege of taking care of throughout my training. I was quickly drawn to performing complex life-altering procedures with minimally invasive techniques, which led me to complete an advanced MIS/Bariatric surgery fellowship at Duke. I specialize in robotic and minimally invasive surgery with specific interests in abdominal wall, hernia, foregut and bariatric surgery. When it comes to patient care, I believe in providing all the information necessary for my patients to feel confident in our treatment plan. Every patient is unique, and I aim to tailor every experience to their needs. I want my patients to feel heard and to be an active part of creating their treatment plan. Above all, I want my patients to feel comfortable and receive the best care.
