Smith, Lehberger & Kennedy serves the family law needs of East Tennesseans with experienced, honest and cost-effective legal representation. We listen to our clients, and tailor our services to address the unique needs of each client. No two families are alike, so we take the time to listen to your situation to assess how best to proceed. We strive to empower our clients by advising them of their options and maintaining regular communication with them. We will work tirelessly to obtain the best outcome for each client.

Rebecca is an associate attorney with Smith, Lehberger, and Kennedy. She assists clients with all areas of family law.

Rebecca grew up in Sevierville, Tennessee where she attended high school. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2019, magna cum laude, earning a B.A. in Political Science: Honors Concentration. During her undergraduate studies, Rebecca was a part of the student government association and the prelaw association

Rebecca continued her education at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she was the first person to complete the JD-MA (Philosophy) dual degree. Rebecca earned a Juris Doctor Degree as well as a Master's Degree in Philosophy and graduated a year early. While in law school, Rebecca completed the advocacy and dispute resolution track, was on the dean's list, competed in mock trial competitions, and was a member of multiple student organizations. Rebecca previously worked for the Department of Children's Services and has experience with child welfare, custody and termination of parental rights proceedings. She enjoys giving back to her community and wants to continue using her talents to help others
