The S.A.V.E.R. Foundation is a new public charity, approved under IRC Section 501(c)(3), and will work in cooperation with government, industry and private entities to further work in conserving and protecting resources closely related to our economy, by sponsoring research, engaging in field testing and field projects, sponsoring symposiums, utilizing online webinars, website and other public educational communications. Among current concerns are damages to forests by beetles and borers, difficulties of eradication efforts, and oppositions to eradication efforts.
Jerry and Betty Boyenger are founders, with the intent to “give back” and contribute in some way to help accomplish some good for our wonderful country. Directors and administrators with experience in mining and minerals, forest health, and energy are being sought at the same time the foundation is seeking projects and funding.
You can help, and your donation will be very much appreciated. The Donate tab can be found up top. Your donations will be used only for actual projects, not for executive compensation. Jerry and Betty will continue at $2 per year plus modest travel reimbursements, and it is anticipated that other directors and executives will serve on a volunteer basis.
