Before becoming a therapist, I worked primarily as visual artist in sculpture and painting. Because of my background in the arts, I truly understand and enjoy working with creative folks including musicians, writers, actors, designers, and creative self employed people. I earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles in 2015. Prior to private practice settings, I provided therapy in community settings including Heart of Los Angeles (HoLA), Art Division, Exceptional Children’s Foundation, Childnet, Clearview Treatment Center and First Step Counseling. I specialize in somatic, mindful and art therapy interventions. I have completed the MBSR program in stress reduction tools and Level 1 Training in Hakomi certified Somatic Therapy and continue to further somatic trainings.
