Tad D. Seifert, M.D., is an orthopedic sports medicine physician with Norton Orthopedic Institute. In addition to sports medicine, he specializes in headache medicine and neurology. Dr. Seifert earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Louisville and his residency in neurology at the University of Texas–Houston. He then completed a fellowship in headache and facial pain at Houston Headache Clinic. Dr. Seifert cares for athletes of all ages and levels, from youth sports to professional leagues.
He serves as an unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant to the NFL's Cleveland Browns, as well as NASCAR. He is the former chairman of the Kentucky Boxing & Wrestling Commission's medical advisory panel and a current board member of the National Headache Foundation.
