Meredith L. Harvie, M.D., is a pediatric gastroenterologist with Norton Children’s Gastroenterology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. She completed her internship, residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Dr. Harvie provides care for kids with a wide range of digestive issues and believes in caring for the whole child — body, mind and emotions. She uses medicine when needed but also focuses on healthy nutrition and lifestyle. Dr. Harvie has a special interest in helping children with obesity, which she knows is a complex and long-term health condition.
Outside of work, Dr. Harvie enjoys spending time with her husband, Jack, and their children.
