About The Practice
Leisel Martin-Brown, MD, is a skilled psychiatrist practicing at Samsara Psychiatry in Marietta, Georgia. Her mission is to provide exceptional mental health services to individuals living in and around the Metro Atlanta area.
Dr. Martin-Brown is a Double Board-Certified Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. She earned her undergraduate degree at Towson University in Maryland and her medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her general Adult Psychiatry residency at the Yale University School of Medicine and her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the world-renowned Yale Child Study Center.
Dr. Martin-Brown’s expertise includes utilizing various psychotherapy techniques and psychopharmacology to treat a range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, psychosis, OCD, substance use disorders, ADHD, child development, and behavioral problems.
Dr. Martin-Brown originally hails from the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago and has lived in the United States after moving here to attend college almost twenty years ago. She enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, traveling, and watching British mystery tv shows. She lives in Marietta with her husband, son, and their two dogs.
