Built in 1997, the Brace Family YMCA is named in honor of the late Harry Brace, his wife Jean, and their family. The Brace Family YMCA is proud to be an anchor in Matthews area of Charlotte by serving thousands of members and program participants each year.
Each day, we strive to serve our members and community in honor of our branch's namesake by empowering youth to fulfill their potential, promoting healthy lifestyles and providing opportunities to lift our neighbors in need.
