About

Dr. Eric Edds is a diagnostic radiologist, and practices general radiology with a special interest in ultrasound and nonvascular interventional procedures. Dr. Edds is a third-generation physician. His grandfather served as a general practice physician in a small Kentucky town, providing comprehensive care to patients throughout all stages of life—from conducting deliveries to offering end-of-life support. While in a different specialty, Dr. Edds shares his grandfather’s love of caring for patients of all ages, from reading prenatal ultrasounds, to pediatric and adolescent imaging, to adult and geriatric care. He especially enjoys inpatient and ER work, providing care to patients in acute need, as well as performing imaging guided procedures. His greatest compliments are “I didn’t feel a thing” after a successful procedure and “really good pick up” on a difficult exam.

Dr. Edds completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology, the imaging of bones, joints, muscles and supporting structures. Working closely with orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians, he has been the preferred radiologist for college athletes, high school athletes, and weekend warriors. He also is expert in reading imaging relating to degenerative joint disease and common aches and pains, and providing imaging guided procedures to relieve this pain.

Dr. Edds is honored and looks forward to serving the South Carolina community, his hospitals and referring clinicians, and most importantly the patients who entrust him with their care.
