Dr. Anna Lara received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University located in New Orleans, LA. She then earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Lara went on to complete a Pediatrics Internship and Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties. Dr. Lara’s special areas of interest are refugee and immigrant health and international health.
