The Endoscopy Center of New York (ECNY) is designed to provide gastrointestinal procedural and health care excellence in a personalized, comfortable, and state-of-the-art facility. Our 12,000 square foot facility utilizes the latest generation of video endoscopes produced by the leading manufacturer of precision endoscopic equipment. The Olympus 190 series is the first video endoscope to incorporate high definition video technology. At ECNY, we also use CO2 (carbon dioxide) rather than air for distending the colon during colonoscopies. The use of CO2 has been shown to reduce the incidence of gas, bloating, and abdominal discomfort following a colonoscopy.
