The team celebrated Christmas last week together along with celebrating another fantastic year wrapped up here! We even got to see our fully remote team member, Alyssa who was in town for the holidays which was an extra special treat to see her in real life 🥰 hope everyone had a happy, safe, and fun holiday!

Today is National Pizza Party Day! So naturally we got some delicious pizza from Cottage Inn Pizza and as always it was 🔥 I couldn’t wait to take a picture until after I already dived into it 😂 if that tells you how impatient and hungry I was! Also I want to argue what makes eating just some pizza versus a pizza PARTY? is it the ballon’s?? Is it the added ice cream?? Well we collectively decided it’s the people, having a group is the party, so even though we are working it’s still a party since there’s plenty of us here! Celebrate accordingly today!

We are here all day today and tomorrow at the Hartford Strawberry Festival! We have our famous bucket toss game, but this time with strawberries 🍓 make sure to swing by for a free prize, say hi, and grab some swag! Don’t forget to eat some strawberry shortcake while you are here as well 🤤❤️🍓

Office shenanigans

Happiest of birthdays to another one of our amazing team members, Cassidy! Although her birthday was Monday, we celebrated today in the office 🥳 Due to the love of the other birthday pie, today we tried the lakeshore crumb (blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, and apple) and it’s was phenomenal! We also enjoyed some delicious Mexican from one of our favorites El Rancho Viejo Niles #5 thanks for being born Cassidy!

Today some of the team and I went out to help clean up our beautiful city of Niles! While the others were busy working and holding down the fort, we got out of the office and cleaned up our little section on US-12. This is from our last rotary meeting! It’s a completely new rotary club happening here in Niles, if you have any interest in joining let me know or come on out to a meeting. Friday afternoon the team here spoiled me and our baby to be! It was a beautiful celebration and am so fortunate to be surrounded by an incredible, loving, and caring team along with a few other nearby agent friends that joined us as well! Baby Massey is due in November so we still have a couple more months but looking forward to having a new little peanut join our team here

This morning I had a chance to be on the radio! 98.3 was highlighting the upcoming event through the Women's Business Center at Cornerstone Alliance for their 20th Anniversary Celebration that is this Thursday, and we are one of the sponsors for it! As we start off the new year, we want to take a second to reflect on this past year. We are so thankful and grateful for all of our loyal customers that make our agency the best it can be! And thanks to you all, we were voted in the Leader Publications best of the best contest for 2024 and we won! Thank you Niles Community!

Today was all about fun at work! We celebrated National Have Fun at Work Day with bingo, puzzles, arts & crafts, and games—plus a delicious lunch from Taqueria Don Chepe. While we still got plenty done, taking a break to enjoy the day with this amazing team was just what we needed!

On National Sons Day, we celebrate the care and support we give our sons every day. Life insurance helps provide stability for them, no matter what. It’s a lasting way to show you’ll always be there.

Today all employees out there should feel appreciated, well everyday really but today even more so because it’s national employee appreciation day! Shout out to the amazing team we have here, they all go above and beyond to help out our customers, and I couldn’t be more thankful for them! To celebrate the day we also ordered lunch from one of our favorites here Wings Etc.! Happy Friday

Some of the team and I went out for lunch and pedicures this past Saturday, which was actually international women’s day as well, so perfect timing! We enjoyed all the delicious things that 2nd & Main has to offer followed by some much needed relaxation over at Nail Connection across the street from us! It was such a fun treat to spend the afternoon together!

With this gorgeous weather we are having today, I wanted to remind everyone that we have DIPPIN’ DOTS in the office for FREE! Yesterday marked a major milestone—our office officially turned 3! It’s hard to believe how fast time has flown by. The past three years have been filled with growth, learning, and so many incredible connections. We're beyond grateful to everyone who has supported us, trusted us, and helped us build something truly special. A special shoutout to Sherri, who’s been with us since day one. Watching her grow and help more people each day has been one of the highlights of our journey—we’re so proud of how far she’s come.

Saturday we had the amazing privilege of walking in the blossomtime parade over in St Joe! It was a beautiful day for a parade and blossomtime really does go all out for it, some of the floats out there were incredible!

Today we got to celebrate the fact that our sweet amazing team member, Nathaly, has officially been helping our customers for a full year! She has learned and evolved so much this past year in the insurance world. Her attitude day in and day out is so positive and just a general joy to be around! I’m so happy and thankful she joined us last year, and can’t wait to see what else she does! To make her day extra special, I made and brought in my “real chili” that she fell in love with the first time I made it on national chili day. I’m not sure why she loves it so much, but happy to make it to make her day! ☺️
