Mill Design and Blinds was originally opened in 1987, by husband and wife team, Rick and Cindi Silverman, in an old, refurbished Mill in North Chelmsford, MA, under the name of Mill Design Center. While our initial focus was on designer wallcoverings and custom window treatments, client demand prompted us to gradually take on the additional product lines of Hunter Douglas Window Fashions, and design services for both residential and commercial spaces.
After 31 years in the Mill, we are following in the direction that today's consumers want: quality products and superior service, and the flexibility of shopping in the comfort of your home or office. Under our new name, Mill Design and Blinds, we are taking our business on the road, bringing our years of design expertise and exceptional service directly to your home.
