Ha T. Nguyen, MD, was born in Vietnam and raised in Minnesota. After obtaining her undergraduate in biology at The University of Texas at Dallas, she went to medical school at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She realized her passion was caring for women of all ages and decided to dedicate her career to obstetrics and gynecology. Nguyen finished her residency at UTHealth Houston in 2017. She stayed on as an assistant professor at McGovern Medical School. She enjoys working with medical students and residents. Nguyen is particularly interested in obstetrics, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, well-woman visits, and abnormal pap smears.
