H & J Tire is your Marin community tire and auto service home for over 41 years. The San Rafael store was established in 1972 at 160 Bellam Blvd. Bob, his son Burt and his step-son Dennis Johansson brought mid-western values and community relationship to their tire and auto repair business. Bob learned the tire business in Oshkosh, Wisconsin from his father. The first generation of our "tire" family had been with Firestone since 1926, the early years of the tire industry.
