In 1949 Ernest Bock & Sons, Inc. (EBS) was founded by the late Ernest Bock Senior, lovingly referred to as Big Ern around the office. EBS had humble beginnings as a small general contractor located on Wyoming Avenue in Philadelphia. It was not until 1986 that EBS moved to the current location on Southampton Road. But no matter where the company was located or how big it grew, the commitment to serve the community and deliver the highest quality of work remained consistent. Big Ern knew that in order to expand his company and create a legacy, he had to consistently surpass every clients expectations. In the 70+ years of Ernest Bock & Sons, Inc.s history we have honored Big Erns commitment and have become one of the largest family owned general contractor and construction management firms in the city of Philadelphia.
