Kenna was born and raised in the Tri-State area. A love of learning and for helping others led her to a career in nursing.
“Throughout high school, I took every science class available, even before I had committed to a career in healthcare. My love for learning and helping others naturally led me to nursing, where I can combine these interests.”
Kenna’s nursing career began in the Emergency Center. When a position opened on the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team, she jumped at the opportunity.
“Plastic surgery fascinates me. I enjoy the diverse array of patients we encounter, ranging from infants with cleft lips and palates or craniofacial anomalies to those seeking cosmetic procedures. Whether a patient presents with a medical issue or seeks cosmetic enhancement, I approach each interaction with enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.”
Outside the examination room, Kenna’s love of learning carries over to her favorite hobby, reading.
“I enjoy a variety of genres, including thrillers, fantasy fiction, biographies, self-help, and motivational literature. I often read two books simultaneously—one for enjoyment and another for personal growth.”
