My journey started with the body - yoga poses, anatomy, alignment. I ate it up! It was so wonderfully tangible, something a beginner could really sink their teeth into. As I simmered in the teachings my attention spread to other facets of yoga: the spiritual and intuitive practice of asana, pranayama, meditation, and Yoga Nidra. My practice and teaching evolved. I shifted from teaching static, aligned poses to teaching what I call MindFlow - mindful, flowing asana that follows the rhythm of the breath. I found the journey from one pose to the next is just as important as the final expression; and while alignment options are still given, I also invite you to become more intuitive with your practice, exploring and honouring your inner guru which intern deepens your conscious awareness of your body/mind. This practice asks you to be fully present through each and every moment. It is truly a moving meditation.
