Inspired by her mother who became a registered nurse later in life, Shannon names her as her biggest influence in becoming a family medicine physician assistant. She strives to be part of the solution for her patients mental health and other chronic care problems so they can become the best versions of themselves. In her free time, Shannon enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Throughout many experiences that shaped my journey to becoming a physician assistant, there is one common driving force: making a difference. It may just be a simple variation in someone's day or it may be part of a bigger life-changing event. Every day I strive to make a positive impact on the healthcare needs of my patients.
