River Ranch Resort is all about fishing, fun and relaxation.
This over 55 senior RV park is set in a beautiful scenic landscape on the banks of the Arroyo Colorado River. The park features lighted fishing piers, fish cleaning station, boat slips, and a multitude of activities and entertainment. There is always something to do and nothing you must do.
The Arroyo Colorado River spans from the Rio Grande to the Gulf of Mexico. Many of our anglers enjoy the comfort of fishing from our lighted piers for Trout, Reds, and Snook, etc. while others enjoy fishing by boat. If you’re a boater you can head inland and fish for bass, freshwater cats and alligator gar then head towards the Gulf and catch Tarpon, Snook, Trout, Flounder and Reds.
Known as the Lower Rio Grande Valley, this tropical area hosts a documented 1200 species of plants, 300 species of butterflies, and over 500 species of birds. It is no surprise that the Valley is one of the three top birding destinations in America.
