Hoffman’s Appliance has served and grown with our community for over 100 years. Our long–time customers know the commitments to service and low prices that have been a part of this local, family–owned company since the beginning. The Hoffman’s opened as a candy shop and bookstore on Joseph Avenue, serving school children. The store grew into Hoffman’s Music Shop, which carried musical instruments for students. During the 1920’s, when radio started to grow around the country, Hoffman’s was the first local store to sell radios. At that point, household technology became the focus of our product line, and we brought Rochester new appliances as they were invented: refrigerators, washers and dryers, televisions and more.
