Karen L. Salzman, MD, is Chief of the Neuroradiology Section in the Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences and Professor of Radiology at University of Utah Health. As Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program, Salzman specializes in neuroradiology with expertise in CT, MRI and X‑ray and a research focus on neuro‑oncologic imaging of the brain, skull base, spine and head and neck. Author of over 40 peer‑reviewed articles, training includes a B.S. from Vanderbilt, an M.D. from the University of Florida, and a fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
