Joseph Liao serves as the Kathryn Simmons Stamey Professor and Chair of the Department of Urology at the Stanford School of Medicine. Dr. Liao is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologic surgeon and a physician scientist, who is nationally recognized for his contributions in cancer imaging and diagnostics. His clinical practice focuses on care of patients with early-stage bladder and prostate cancer.
