I was raised in Scottsboro and have lived here most of my life. My father started with Allstate in 1964, operating out of a Sears retail location. He became the first neighborhood agent in the Southeast region back in 1984. I took over in April 2004 and three weeks later moved the agency to John T. Reid Parkway, where it remains today.
I love the friendliness of this city. Scottsboro citizens have a genuine desire to give back to the community. I lead the Scottsboro Rotary Club Scholarship Committee, and have spoken to classes at Scottsboro High School about the value of insurance. In 2008 I became the radio analyst for Scottsboro High School football broadcasts. It’s also fun to tell people that my hometown houses the unclaimed baggage in the United States in a 40,000-square-foot retail store.
On weekends, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Kathy — we’ve been married since 1989 — our three sons and our dog, Fitz. I also like working in my yard and playing golf.
Whether you’re looking for home, auto or life insurance or want to work toward financial goals and get ready for retirement, I’ll be here to help as you choose from a wide range of products and services. Service, value and trust are very important to me, and I enjoy being able to provide each to customers. I look forward to working with you and invite you to stop by soon.
