George Armendariz MD is originally from the West Texas town of Abilene and is a graduate of Southwestern University and The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston Medical School. His internship was completed in General Surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston, Texas and his anesthesiology residency was at the Memorial Herman Hospital system in Houston as well. In addition, Dr. Armendariz was a captain in the United States Air Force and served in the Air Force Reserve Unit in Texas prior to his honorable discharge secondary to a congenital heart defect.
