PGA Golf Professional John Petronis entered the golf business on January 1st, 1993 in Naples, FL. It was at Quail West CC where he started his PGA Apprenticeship and gave his first golf lesson. From 1993 through 1995, he also trained at the David Leadbetter Academy to expand his knowledge of the golf swing. He then continued his apprenticeship at Galloway National under the mentorship of the PGA's Past President Dick Smith. After Galloway, Petronis moved onto Sand Barren's under the mentorship of Colorado's PGA Section Past Vice President Alden Richards.
