The agency is owned and operated by Karen Marousek and Grace Cognetta, both registered nurses with over 40 years of nursing experience. Each has worked as hospital based nurses, case managers and hospice nurses. Karen is also a certified case manager.
Karen and Grace have helped many families transition their loved one’s home and have successfully prevented hospital readmissions for over a decade.
Their holistic approach includes a comprehensive geriatric assessment. This entails working with families to choose the caregiver and taking a family-orientated approach regarding support and education; this all leads to better long term outcomes. Most importantly the staff at ECSS focuses on proactive and preventative care.
