Dr. Surka chose to be a pediatrician because he enjoys kids. He says they're fun and interact on a completely different level. Most children have no walls and don't try to hide anything from you. Dr. Surka likes to build relationships with families in the office, as well as in the community. He finds it very gratifying to be able to help a sick child feel better. When not working, Dr. Surka enjoys spending time with his family and attending concerts and music festivals.
