The Norfolk Virginia Temple was announced in April 2025 by President Russell M. Nelson as the 4th temple in the state. The temple is currently in the planning and approval phase. A groundbreaking date has not yet been announced. Plans call for an 18,850-square-foot, one-story building and an adjacent Distribution Center.
