His military service included assignments at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas; Camp Garry Owen in South Korea; and Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Georgia, as well as combat deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom (2004). Throughout his service, he earned numerous commendations, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Korean Defense Medal. These experiences helped shape his professional philosophy, emphasizing precision, integrity, leadership, and compassionate care.
