About Katelyn McEwan
Katelyn McEwan, NP earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Valley State University, her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Michigan-Flint and then she followed that with earning her Family Nurse Practitioner certification. She has experience in hospital settings, clinics, and home health care.
As a primary care provider she strives to be a reliable resource for patients in an ever-changing healthcare system. “Primary care keeps you on your toes,” she says. “I am passionate about all ages of patients and this role allows me to treat just that.”
Through her education, she learned that listening is important. “Patients want to be heard and they can provide you with the best personal history,” she says.
Her philosophy as a provider is about providing individualized care. Katelyn says, “I want my patients to feel like a priority, feel heard and feel supported.”
