Raka Gohel, MD, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management expert practicing at Diagnostic Pain & Treatment Center in Tomball and The Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Gohel is committed to providing customized, state-of-the-art pain management services to help her patients lead healthy and pain-free lives.
Dr. Gohel completed her bachelor’s degree at St. Louis University in Missouri before earning her medical degree at Kasturba Medical College in India. Dr. Gohel returned to the United States to serve her internship and residency at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis and an additional residency in anesthesiology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and the Pain and Health Management Center in Houston.
Dr. Gohel also completed rigorous fellowship training in pain management at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She’s a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the International Association for the Study of Pain.
Dr. Gohel wants to help her patients lead healthy, pain-free lives and offers personalized treatment plans to both relieve pain and address the underlying condition or injury causing it. She frequently attends conferences and training events to stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in pain management to ensure her patients receive the best possible care.
