My background in genetics, biotechnology, laboratory research, and advocacy led me to a career in genetic counseling. I take a patient-centered approach, working closely with individuals to help them decide whether genetic testing is right for them and, if they choose to move forward, what their results may mean for their future cancer risks and screening options, as well as what their results mean for their family members. While I’ve worked across both clinical and non-clinical areas of healthcare, my specialty is hereditary cancer genetics.
