Located in Woburn, Massachusetts, ADCO was born from a brick and mortar gun shop just north of Boston. Today, ADCO is a globally recognized brand in the industry for demanding shooters.
In 1986, we developed a magazine loading tool for double stacked 9mm pistols that were hitting the market at the time. Customers were complaining of "sore thumbs" trying to load the likes of the then new Beretta 92 high capacity magazines. This was our first loading tool product, and we called it SUPER THUMB. This tool took off with the shooting community and soon requests were coming in for SUPER THUMB tools for other magazine styles, like some the single stack and other ultra wide staggered magazines.
Meanwhile, with being enthusiasts in the shooting community, a couple Super Thumb models for .22 cal. bulls-eye shooters were developed to assist shooters of the most popular target pistols.
Fast forward to today and you can see that we have developed SUPER THUMB into 6 full size center fire models and 2 "Juniors" for .22 target pistols. We are always working to keep Super Thumbs as versatile as possible
