Unikart was founded in 2023 when two friends decided to turn their passion for karting into a professional kart team based in Leuven. After securing a podium finish in their first race, the idea emerged to guide young drivers towards a professional racing career. The name "Unikart" was chosen carefully: "UNI" stands for university, reflecting both Leuven as a renowned student city and our goal to provide knowledge and guidance to drivers. In just one year, Unikart has attracted several talented drivers. Our team has quickly evolved, with drivers progressing from amateurs to respected kart racers competing at the highest level. Currently, two of our drivers participate in the Belgian Rental Kart Championship and have already won prizes. Our mission is to produce a Belgian champion in the long term. We aim to achieve this by collaborating with companies and other partners, ensuring that young, talented, and motivated drivers receive the best possible guidance from experienced racers.
