Pra quem gosta de igrejas, é uma ótima visita. Por ser diferente dos lugares que os demais turistas buscam, é possível encontrar sem aquele tumulto de ponto turístico. Mas não deixa de ser um belo lugar a ser visitado por aqueles que possuem um pouco mais de tempo na cidade.A igreja é linda, e as missas com canto gregoriano são muito bonitas. O site dá maiores informações.A fachada é muito linda, com um corpo central com três arcos de entrada e um frontão triangular.O interior da igreja é riquíssimo, totalmente forrado com talhas douradas, estilo barroco com muitos detalhes lindos e muitas obras de arte tais como, pinturas sobre a vida dos santosm sem contar com as capelas que compõe o mosteiro, recomendoÉ um local bonito, já que fui a anos atrás, todavia hoje há dificuldade em fazer tal visita e ver o antigo porto do Rio, já que os que vigiam a subida e o local, sempre alegam que está fechado e ou em obras... uma pena e uma falta de respeito aos turistas...Endereço e telefone de Mosteiro De São Bento Rio De Janeiro
