Dr. Manreet Riar is a Registered Psychologist, licensed to practice in the province of Alberta. She has over 24yrs+ of experience in the mental health field working in hospital, school, community and non-profit settings providing psychotherapy, psychological testing & evaluation and case consultation. She has completed Doctorate and Master's in Psychology. She is trained in Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), EMDR, Solution focused therapy, Collaborative problem solving (CPS), Multidimensional family therapy, Neuro-sequential model of therapeutics (NMT) by Dr. Bruce Perry and Introductory hypnosis training. Areas of special interest are Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, ADHD, Grief & Loss, Bereavement Stress & Anger management, Life coaching, Interpersonal & Work/Organizational stress, parenting support, Childhood disorders and learning disabilities. Psychotherapy is provided with a collaborative, client centered, cultural non-judgmental, developmental, and trauma informed lens.
