Marcia has a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
Marcia attends several educational workshops per year to keep current with the most effective therapeutic approaches and information. Some additional training includes: Emotional Regulation in Couples Therapy, Rebuilding Intimacy After an Affair, Addictions, Response Based Therapy for Trauma, Critical Incident Debriefing, Crime Victim Assistance, Resolving Depression and Anxiety, and Brief Solution-focused Therapy.
Experience is essential to successful outcomes. Marcia has 17 years of experience counselling youth and adult clients with career, employment and personal issues. She provides private counselling, and is a provider for several Employee Assistance Program agencies, Victim Services, and some insurance and benefits companies.
