At Orion, we provide custom orthopedic appliances built right on site in Grande Prairie in our professional lab. We build splints or braces for your ankles, knees, feet, legs, spine, back, and upper extremities like fingers, wrists, and arms. The costs are usually covered by Federal, Provincial, Private, First Nations or other specialized insurance plans. All work is done by our certified orthotist who has many years of experience and who will consult directly with you to solve your mobility issues. We also do fast adjustments right on site where we also do the fabrication, thus you receive good turn-around time for both adjustments as well as new appliances. So whether your need is on your foot, leg, torso, we have the orthopedic product for you and can provide. Doctors and hospitals will often refer to us for Knee Orthoses (KO), Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO), Knee Ankle Foot (KAFO), Hip Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (HKFAO), plus Spinal, Upper Extremity, or other required appliances.
