What’s covered with permanent and term life insurance
Permanent life: You’re paying premiums for a set number of years or until you pass away. It pays out to your beneficiaries upon your death. Some policies also earn a cash value over time.
Term life: You pay your premiums for a set period (i.e. while you are paying off your mortgage and your kids are at school or studying). If you die during this period, the policy pays out to your beneficiaries. If you are still alive by the end, the coverage ends with no payout. Most term policies give a renewal option.

I am a father to five daughters, have four sons-in-law, and eight grandchildren.
