I was always attracted to bright and shiny things and eventually this extended into jewellery. As a child, I was especially attentive to my grandmother's jewellery box and spent most of my time at her house trying on and wearing her jewellery and shoes. (Yup. I have a closet full of shoes too.)
?In 1997, I had my first son and 4 years later, had my second son. Although I had two children, I found myself with some degree of free time and decided to dabble in everyday, customizable jewellery. At the time, "custom" and "made in Canada" became highly important to me and particularly to consumers and so, the bridal industry was particularly attractive as "shiny" and "white" were my favourite colours. Before long, I was hosting parties and selling online. Before I knew it, i was carried in over 50 stores throughout Canada.
