We have many patients with TMJ issues. Our office follows a checklist of diagnostic processes to determine the cause of the discomfort. Once we have established the cause, we put together a treatment plan to resolve the issue, both in the short-term and in the long-term. Most patients don't realize how often the jaw is used or how much tension and pressure is imposed on it. Through our evaluation and treatments we have helped many resolve TMJ issues.

Dr. Migara Weerasinghe graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1995. While balancing a private practice he serves as an emergency dental associate for Markham Stouffville Hospital in addition to also contributing back to University of Toronto as a clinical demonstrator for dental students. His practice in Markham has been serving residents since 1998 and continues to provide a high level of dental care and service for patients. He is an avid cyclist and skier.
