At Architecture Building Culture (ABC) we see our fundamental role as one of reflecting, supporting, uplifting and, in many cases, transforming the cultural context of our clients. We are committed to a collaborative and integrative design process that considers the story of a building, its occupants and their activities as one and integral to the community it represents.
The work of ABC and its principals, Mark Ritchie and Brian Cavanaugh has won numerous design awards and been published throughout the world. Most recently, ABC was awarded the 2015 AIBC Lieutenant Governor Merit award and the 2014 AIA Northwest & Pacific Region Emerging Firm of the Year Award. In 2013, ABC was ranked as one of the top 50 design firms in the U.S. by ARCHITECT Magazine (The ARCHITECT 50).
