From 1973 to 1981 Bill Curtis worked for a number of companies including Dominion Construction and Read Jones Christoffersen where he obtained the foundation of his knowledge in building. He worked full time and studied part-time at Simon Fraser University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He also completed building courses at the British Columbia Institute of Technology to enhance his expertise and knowledge of building.
