Founded in 2001, Toraguchi Martial Arts offers classes for all ages in traditional Goju Ryu Karate. Our program prides itself on functional self-defence while offering young students a supportive place to learn and develop as people.
We set ourselves apart by being the only government recognized karate school in either Oakville or Burlington. We follow the strict standards of our NSO (National Sport Organization) Karate Canada, and follow the principles of the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program). Our head instructor (Sensei) is also only one of only seven chartered professional coaches for karate in all of Ontario (ChPC).
For those interested in the sport of karate, we also offer an Olympic style program for athletes that wish to enter into the competition field.
