Queen's Park YMCA Child Care provides preschool, child care and before and after school care programs for infants, toddlers and children aged 0-12. The centre is located in Penticton on Queens Park Elementary school grounds in its own separate building with a fenced outdoor play ground. All programming utilizes the nationally recognized YMCA Playing to curriculum which helps build capacity for lifelong learning by creating quality learning experiences through play. As a charity, the centre is able to offer financial assistance above and beyond government subsidy to families who qualify. Queen's Park YMCA Child Care is part of the YMCA of Okanagan, a cause-driven charity dedicated to building healthy individuals and communities.
