CPR is a lifesaving technique, which brings back or triggers back breathing in a patient after he/she has stopped breathing. It is basically a combination of rescue breathing to instantaneously provide oxygen into the lungs of the patient, and simultaneously exercise chest compression in order to ensure that the oxygen-rich blood is flowing until both the breathing and the heart-beat is restored.
