This one of a kind music and movement program engages, educates, and entertains parent and child while on a musical journey through different styles and cultures.
The Curriculum is designed to stimulate the brain and body via singing, dancing, drumming, parachuting, improvising, exploring instruments, jumping and playing. A family fun environment exploring 24 genres/cultures over a 2 year period. Our classes inspire creativity and build confidence in little ones 6 months to 4 years old. Research based curriculum is designed to stimulate the whole brain and body via singing, dancing, drumming, parachuting, improvising, exploring instruments, jumping and playing.

Intergenerational musical play is at the core of our program. Grandparents are always welcome! Jump into Music creates space for shared experiences while exploring music history honouring cultural traditions from around the world.

Parachute play is a highlight of class! Discover colours and counting, rhythm and pulse while we listen to genre specific music to go along with each lesson. Children explore this safe space supported by both parents and the skilled instructor.

Let's find it on the Map! While exploring 24 different genres or countries of origin over a 2 year period, we discover big ideas about our world and our place in it. Jump into Music is a Musicology for families program rooted in decolonization.

Each term ends with the presentation of outstanding participation awards and a class picture! We are growing together and having fun at Jump into music!

Instrument exploration is a big part of our classes. Using active listening techniques children have the opportunity to try out various instruments receiving one on one attention from the teacher. Appreciating each performer is nurtured.

Jump into Music is an inclusive environment designed to nurture our musical spirits while expanding our world view. Instructors are professionally trained, gigging musicians sharing their talents with families around BC.
