Rick Riechelt, the co-owner and operator of Bourbon Street Bar & Grill has been in the Hotel, Restaurant and bar business for over 30 years. 25 of those years have been spent in Vernon.

- Owned and operated Squires Four Pub from 1986 to 1997
- Worked in sales for Okanagan Spring Brewery between 1997 and 1999
- Owned and operated The Blue Heron Waterfront Pub and Restaurant from 1999 to 2010
