Where the inner island wall meets the floor, we've added a furniture base moulding to create a clean, refined look without adding much to the overall cost.
In this classic L-shaped kitchen the appliances are spaced apart for a broad, balanced look. If your cooking style requires a more compact setting, we'll get together and find a look that suits your specific needs without sacrificing the overall aesthetic!
Besides allowing for more space in your kitchen overall, the "reverse gull-wing" island can spaciously incorporate both a double-sink and dishwasher.
You are unique, and so are your needs when it comes to your kitchen layout. If necessary, we'll design an entirely new concept just to fit those needs! This "reverse gull-wing" island is the first of it's kind, created for a customer who loved the traditional gull-wing style island but didn't have the kitchen space to accommodate it. We found a way for them to have their cake and eat it too!
To keep a consistent aesthetic, panel door detailing is also featured on the inside of the stall.
We offer a variety of aesthetic details that will put your project in a class of it's own. This photo features feet on the vanity, and mouldings around the stall supports as well as at the ceiling. These finishing touches give the room a bit of elegant character without crowding the space.
Butlers pantry area.
This sleek modern kitchen includes a large extending pantry on the right, tucked away behind a set of triple-by-pass stainless steel and glass doors. In the next photo you can see the inside of the pantry with doors removed.
Here slide-out trays are placed at different heights to neatly store items of various shapes and sizes.

Pseudo floating vanity. Panel provides support making the unit more stable. On occasion true floating vanities can come off the wall.
Here the steel/glass doors are removed , revealing the cabinetry inside. The pantry area is designed to extend and collapse, disappearing into the wall when not in use. Easy slide-out trays allow you to reach the very back of the shelves with minimal effort, and to their right is a metal pull-out pantry which runs the full height of the unit.
At DMVDesign Inc. we will make your kitchen do everything you need and still look like a show-home! Another look at our modern kitchen design shows ample counter space between the sink and cook-top, and between the cook-top and wall ovens on the left. Every appliance is placed according to aesthetic and function.
DMVDesign Inc. will go the extra mile to turn your awkward obstacles into elegant solutions! In this example the deep red pillar and matching custom shelf show off the quartz counter-top in stunning contrast. The secret? We took a structurally necessary pillar and turned it into a unique accent!
Waterfall Quartz is one of ________ counter-top options DMVDesign Inc. has to offer. In this photo it is featured in contrast with a red-accented pillar for a unique contemporary look.
